2012 Summer Junior Ranger Camps to be Held at Montezuma Well

2012 Summer Junior Ranger Camps to be Held at Montezuma Well

This summer, Montezuma Castle National Monument will be holding the 4th annual FREE Summer Junior Ranger Camps at Montezuma Well in Rimrock, AZ. Join a National Park Ranger for an exciting four-day learning experience at the Montezuma Well unit of Montezuma Castle National Monument. Junior Rangers will learn about the prehistoric Sinagua culture, geology, archaeology, and preservation through hiking, discussions, and hands-on activities. New this year is a camp specifically for returning rangers!

These day camps will be held Tuesday through Friday:

Camp 1: June 12th - June 15th (All Returners from previous year's camps)

Camp 2: June 26th - June 29th (Ages 12-16)

Camp 3: July 3rd - July 6th (Ages 8-11)

Camp 4: July 10th - July 13th (Ages 8-11)

Camps will take place from 7:30am to 11:30am. All camps are free.

Camp reservations can be made by completing the registration packet. Registration forms can be obtained from the website below or by calling (928)567-3322 x1. Please also leave a message for any questions.

Reservations will be taken on a first come-first serve basis. There is a maximum of 15 campers per camp. All kids/parents who complete a registration packet for their reservation will be sent a letter with more information on what to expect and required items.
