Meet us at the beach to help plan Gateway's future

WHAT: Help Gateway create a new vision for a great urban park in the 21st century. As part of the next phase of the on-going the General Management Plan (GMP) process, three draft management alternatives, each laying out a different direction for the park, are available for comments and suggestions. Information about the alternatives and GMP can be found on the park's website at https://www.nps.gov/gate/parkmgmt/gmp-2012.htm

A series of outdoor information sessions will take place in August 2012 at three locations: Sandy Hook, New Jersey; Jacob Riis Park, Queens, and; Great Kills Park on Staten Island. Stop by and meeting the GMP planning team, pick up a newsletter, and share your ideas at one of these informal, drop-in gatherings. Formal Open Houses are planned for September. Check out the park's website for locations and dates.
