AGOURA HILLS, Calif. -- In celebration of National Public Lands Day, the National Park Service invites you to a clean-up of Medea Creek at Paramount Ranch on Saturday, September 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Part of the critical Malibu Creek watershed, this event is a great opportunity for volunteers to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in the Santa Monica Mountains.
Individuals and families are welcome, but children over the age of 10 will be best suited for the work. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, long-sleeves and pants, and sun protection. Trash bags and other tools will be provided, but volunteers are asked to bring work gloves and a bucket.
Roll up your sleeves and get in on the fun! National Public Lands Day is a partnership effort with Heal the Bay and the Cornell Preservation Organization, with additional support from REI.

Paramount Ranch is located off the 101 Freeway's Kanan Road exit at 2903 Cornell Road, Agoura Hills, CA 91310.
