BODY FOUND ON LAKE MEAD ARIZONA SHORELINE

BODY FOUND ON LAKE MEAD ARIZONA SHORELINE

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Around 1 p.m. Oct. 4, the Lake Mead National Recreation Area Interagency Communication Center received multiple reports of a male body washed up on the Lake Mead Arizona shoreline north of Castle Cove across from Sentinel Island.

National Park Service Rangers arrived on scene by boat and confirmed the reports at 1:49 p.m. Rangers are standing by while the park pilot flies over for aerial photos. Upon completion, the body will be transported to the Mohave County Coroner Investigator.

The incident is under investigation, and the identity of the victim is still being confirmed and will not be released until next of kin have been notified.
