Superintendent Barclay Trimble announced today that Wright Brothers National Memorial will be joining national park units across the country in honoring current and former servicemen and women and their families.Entrance to Wright Brothers National Memorial will be free to all park visitors Saturday, November 10 through Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.
"National parks preserve places that commemorate our country's collective heritage….iconic symbols of our country that our military have defended through the years," stated Superintendent Trimble."Staff of the Outer Banks Group are grateful for the service and sacrifice of military members, past and present, and we invite everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy these treasured places."
