In observance of the upcoming holidays War in the Pacific National Historical Park will be closed on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 and New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Closed park facilities include the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center, restrooms at Asan Beach Unit and Ga’an Point, and the gate to the Asan Bay Overlook.
In addition, the visitor center will be closed due to a scheduled power outage on Wednesday, December 26. Other park facilities, such as the Asan Bay Overlook and the restrooms at Asan Beach and Ga’an Point will remain open on December 26. For more information, call 333-4050.
