Entrance fees to Glacier National Park will be waived Monday, Jan. 21, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Other entrance fee-free dates in 2013 include:-April 22-26 National Park Week,-August 25 National Park Service Birthday,-September 28 National Public Lands Day, and-November 9-11 Veterans Day Weekend.
Glacier National Park, as well all other sites of the National Park Service, offers a free annual pass to active duty military members and their dependents. The annual pass allows free entrance to national parks and other federal recreation sites.
The America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Program offers citizens and permanent residents 62 years of age and older a lifetime pass for $10, and those with a permanent disability a free lifetime pass. An annual pass available for $80 allows free entrance to federally operated recreation sites across the county. These passes allow free entrance to sites managed by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, and the U.S. Forest Service.
An annual Glacier National Park Pass is also available. The 2013 park pass highlights art work by 2012 Glacier High School Student Brian Smith. The pass allows unlimited access to the park for one year from time of purchase of the pass and is available for $35.
