In order to provide a more centralized system on tracking permits in case of emergencies and also to allow for 24 hour availability, visitors can purchase their backcountry permits and/or wild hog hunting permits at one of our visitor centers or online at https://www.nps.gov/biso/planyourvisit/permits.htm.
Wild hog hunting permits are required along with a big game hunting license to hunt in the Big South Fork NRRA.The extended hog hunting season will end on Feb. 28, 2013.
