Volunteers Needed at Rocky Mountain National Park

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Jan. 29, 2013. It is reproduced in full below.

Be a part of the team at Rocky Mountain National Park! The Volunteer Program at Rocky is seeking volunteers to fill a variety of roles during the busy summer season.

Volunteers are needed to assist in visitor centers, at trailheads, in the Fire Management Office, on road crews and trail crews, and in the Cultural Resource Office. Occasionally, the National Park Service recruits for positions that include housing. Currently, we have two of these positions, one located at McGraw Ranch and the second located at Holzwarth Historic Site on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Rocky is seeking people who like to communicate with the public, work hard, and have a sincere desire to help protect Rocky Mountain National Park.
