The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on April 30, 2013. It is reproduced in full below.

The Bandy Creek Visitor Center in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area will be hosting an informal coffee with the ranger program on Saturday, May 4, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Bring any questions you have and come join National Park Service rangers for a free cup of coffee or tea. Visitors can ask questions about the park and its resources. The event will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the various jobs rangers do in a national park. People interested in volunteering at Big South Fork can pick up applications.

For more information, call the Bandy Creek Visitor Center at (423) 286-7275.
