The Utah Department of Transportation (DOT) will begin a project to resurface the roadway on Highway 24 starting Tuesday May 28, 2013 and continue through Thursday May 30, 2013.

The work will occur from the Panorama Point- Goosenecks turnout (mile post 77) and extend approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) eastward, towards the Fruita Historic District and the park visitor center, and encompass both lanes, one at a time. The DOT will perform traffic control. Expect travel delays.

This work will improve the tread of the roadway making conditions safer for travelers. Please use caution in work areas. Thank you for your patience.

Safe travels!
