Brief Delays For Drivers in The Kipahulu Section of Haleakala National Park

Drivers traveling from Hana through Kīpahulu (Highways 360/31) may experience brief delays on Monday, September 9 through Tuesday, September 10 when traffic will be reduced to one lane. Delays are expected to be no more than 15 minutes. To improve pedestrian safety, highway traffic in the Kīpahulu section of Haleakalā National Park will be restricted to one lane while road crews paint pedestrian crosswalks that lead from parking lots to park trails.
