The Fire Management Operation plans to burn a large debris pile at Satterlee Pit tomorrow, Thursday Dec. 12, 2013 and the Cadillac Orchard piles on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013. Conditions will be cold, clear, and windy making for excellent smoke dispersion. Winds will be out of the northwest which should drive the winds across Schooner Head and out to sea. Two inches of snow make fire spread very unlikely.
