TYLER BEND VISITOR CENTER CLOSED FOR REPAIRS

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Jan. 10, 2014. It is reproduced in full below.

Office spaces received water damage last Tuesday (1/7/2014) when an overhead sprinkler system pipe broke. Two workstations in the administrative area of the visitor center received the brunt of the downpour which fortunately did not directly impact any of the public space, including important display exhibit items. Cleanup and repairs are underway, but the facility is not expected to be open until January 21st.
