Big Slackwater Boat Ramp Re-Opens

Williamsport, MD. - The National Park Service, Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park (Park), is pleased to announce that the bridge serving the Big Slackwater Boat Ramp is complete and access to the Big Slackwater Boat Ramp has been restored. The bridge superstructure and deck were removed and replaced to raise the bridge's load rating.
