Fire Restrictions Lifted at Petrified Forest National Park

Petrified Forest, AZ-Due to increased moisture with the onset of the monsoon, all Stage I and II fire restrictions within Petrified Forest National Park are lifted as of 8:00am on 7/9/2014.

The use of solar, propane/butane, white gas fueled stoves and charcoal-type grills are allowed in designated picnic areas. The use of solar, propane/butane, and white gas fueled stoves is allowed in wilderness camping areas. As always, campfires and use or possession of fireworks is prohibited.
