40 Years a Ranger

Join Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Park Ranger Jim Dal Sasso for a special program at the Philip A. Hart Visitor Center in Empire, Michigan on Thursday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m. Ranger Jim will share stories and photographs from his long and varied career with the National Park Service. He has served in parks all across the country, from Denali National Park in Alaska to Everglades National Park in Florida. Ranger Jim has also spent the last 20 years patrolling Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Before his upcoming retirement at the end of July, he will offer his unique perspective on the treasures of the national parks. This program is free to the public.
