Lone Mountain Fire Update: Trail Closure

The entire length of the Boulder Creek Trail between the Stehekin Valley and War Creek Pass in the North Cascades National Park is now closed for safety because of the Lone Mountain Fire. Earlier, officials had closed a section of trail from Hooter Camp to War Creek Pass. Now the trail is closed from valley to ridgeline.

The Lone Mountain Fire was estimated at 200 acres this morning, and was predicted to grow larger again today.
