Copper Center, AK -- Come experience a family-friendly day of avian exploration on Wednesday,

Aug. 13, 11:00am -3:00pm at the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve Headquarter Visitor Center to

learn about wonderful creatures that make Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve their home.

Activities include:

-- Ranger-Guided Bird Walk with binoculars &field guides

-- Live Bird Presentation by Bird Treatment and Learning Center

-- "Bird Research in Wrangell-St. Elias" by Wildlife Biologist Judy Putera

-- Face painting

-- Prizes

Throughout the day there will be ongoing activities including live birds-of-prey on

display, crafts, scavenger hunts, and an owl pellet dissection table! Free

Admission.
