WHAT: September 11th Observance

TheSeptember 11th observance will start at9:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 11. This start time was chosen to commemorate the time period during which the passengers and crew took action on the plane to thwart the terrorists.

WHEN: September 11th Observance - Thursday, Sept. 11, 2013

Media Set-up Begins:7:00 a.m.

Ceremony Begins:9:45 a.m.

All media must be set-up and in place by8:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 11.

(Outlets with live broadcasts the morning ofSeptember 11 will have access earlier than7:00 a.m.;details will follow in future advisories).
