Glen Jean, West Virginia,September 4, 2014-Nature is around every corner, especially in the Bluestone River Gorge. Explore life and history with a ranger on a guided hike in the Bluestone River gorge onSaturday, September 6from10:00 am -11:30 am. This leisurely, river-side walk is a fun way to experience the out-of-doors and learn about the natural world that surrounds us. This program is also a good place to find out more about the people who shaped the region's history. Meet at the base of the Pipestem Resort State Park tramway for this 2.0 mile round-trip walk into the Bluestone National Scenic River. Bring $2.00 for the return tram ride. Wear comfortable walk shoes for this guided walk.
