On Saturday, Oct. 25, park rangers at Shiloh National Military Park will present living history demonstrations about rural life in the 1860s. The living history program will take place at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm at the historic William Manse George cabin located at Tour Stop #16 on Shiloh Battlefield.
The program titled, "Learn from the Past to Improve the Future," will explore ways to be environmentally responsible through learning from the past. The historic demonstrations will look at the daily lives of citizens living around Shiloh Hill in the 1860s and compare the activities to the modern way of conducting the same activities in 2014.
