Lake Roosevelt 2014 Boat Launch Permits Available Online

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Oct. 27, 2014. It is reproduced in full below.

The National Parks service is happy to announce that the Annual Boat Launch Permit for Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area will now be available on line through pay.gov at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/64970644. You may also find a link on our website at: https://www.nps.gov/laro/planyourvisit/feesandreservations.htm.

A launch permit is required for the launching of any vessel at all designated National Park Service-managed launch ramps on Lake Roosevelt, regardless of the type of vessel. Boaters may pay a fee of $6, which allows unlimited launches for up to 7 days from the date of purchase (available at each boat launch), or purchase a seasonal permit, which allows unlimited launches from January 1 to Dec. 31, 2014.

2014 launch permits will be available for $20 for the remainder of the calendar year. For Golden Age, Golden Access and Interagency Senior or Access Pass cardholders, fees are discounted 50%. When purchasing a seasonal boat launch permit, the 50% discount will be given once in a calendar year for one permit only. If multiple permits are purchased at one time, only one will be discounted.
