Septic system repair is scheduled to take place at the Blue Heron area of the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area during the month of November. Hydra Engineering and Construction is scheduled to begin the septic system repairs on Monday, November 10.
Visitors will still be able to access every part of Blue Heron and the Mine 18 area with the exception of the picnic shelters and corral located behind the concession stand where the immediate construction will be taking place. Portable toilets will also be available deployed at the concession area during the time of septic interruption.
