"Come join us as we celebrate 'Nature's Holiday Songs'," says Shirley Torgerson, Executive Director of the Capitol Reef Natural History Association. This celebration of the season will include live music and a special discount of 20% off all merchandise in the bookstore. Children from the local school, Loa Elementary, will be decorating the park tree with handmade ornaments. Refreshments will be provided.
The open house will be Friday, December 5, 2014 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. At 2:00 pm the children will decorate the tree and since holiday songs.
