Holiday Music at the Great Falls Tavern

Potomac, MD. -Come and join in the festive mood of the holiday season at the Great Falls Tavern in the C&O Canal National Historical Park. On Sunday, December 7th at 1:00 pm, join the Gilmore's Light Ensemble as they perform 19th century holiday music and carols at the Great Falls Tavern. The Gilmore's Light Ensemble plays and sings traditional 19th century music using hammered dulcimer, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and accordion wearing clothing of the mid-1800's. The concert lasts from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm and is free. Light refreshments will be served. There is an entrance fee to the park of $5.00 per single vehicle.

The Great Falls, Maryland area of the C &O Canal National Historical Park is located at the intersection of Falls Rd. and MacArthur Blvd. in Potomac, Maryland. For more information about the concert and the park, call 301-767-3714.
