Celebrate Presidents Day at Cincinnati's National Park

William Howard Taft National Historic Site will celebrate Presidents day on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 beginning at 10 am by offering Junior Ranger activities. Visitors of all ages will be rewarded with Junior Ranger badges, patches and presidential and National Park Service prizes for participating in activities that focus on William Howard Taft, Ohio Presidents, and Presidential History. Visitors will also get the opportunity to visit the site's museum collection. The site's archives will be open during the day to view artifacts not on exhibit. Free educational materials will also be available for students doing school reports on President Taft and other Presidents.

A visit to the site includes a Ranger guided tour of Taft's home, self-guided exhibits and an introductory video on Taft's life and career. Tours of the boyhood home will be conducted throughout the day from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. All activities are free and reservations are not required.

Events begin at the Taft Education Center, located at 2038 Auburn Avenue. Free parking is available in front of the education center or in an overflow lot on Southern Avenue.
