The Denali National Park Subsistence Resource Commission (SRC) will meet on Wednesday February 25 at Pikes Waterfront Lodge in Fairbanks. The public is invited to attend the meeting, which will be held from 10:30 am-4:30 pm.
The commission will consider a range of issues related to subsistence hunting and fishing in the 1980 additions to Denali National Park and Preserve. Select agenda items for the meeting include discussions and updates on the following topics:
* submission of a community (Nikolai) winter sheep hunt to the Federal Subsistence Board and Board of Game
* status of SRC vacancies
* current and upcoming research projects
