Repairs to the viewing area at Thunder Hold will begin on March 27. Construction crews will be mobilizing equipment this week into the left lane of Park Loop Road, resulting in the closure of that lane to snowmobile traffic. The right hand lane of Park Loop Road will remain open to motor vehicle traffic. The entire viewing area at Thunder Hole will be closed during construction and is scheduled to reopen on May 22, the Friday before Memorial Day.
