LAKE MEREDITH NATIONAL RECREATION AREA PROPOSES NEW OFF-ROAD VEHICLE RULES (Fritch)

Fritch, TX - The National Park Service(NPS) invites public comment on a proposed rule to revise off-road vehicle regulations at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area (NRA).The off-road vehicle regulations were last amended in 1971.

The proposed regulations are part of a long term planning process that started in June of 2008. The final Off-Road Vehicle Management Plan (ORV Plan) was completed in January of 2015.The proposed rule implements Alternative D of the ORV Plan.
