Antietam National Battlefield announces that as of Oct. 1, 2015, 37 acres will be available on the historic Roulette Farm for the use of a hay lease. These acres will be administered under a special use permit, issued by the Resource Management Division of the battlefield. A flat rate of $25.00 per acre will be assessed bi-annually in the months of October and April.
If you are interested in applying for a permit for the hay fields, please contact Natural Resources Manager, Joe Calzarette to receive an application package. The applications are due back to the Resources office no later than the close of business, Aug. 14, 2015.
