Experience Your Big South Fork - “Once in a Blue Moon” Program on July 31

The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area will be hosting a "Once in a Blue Moon" special night sky program on Friday, July 31, at 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), at the Bandy Creek Visitor Center. Bring a friend or a youth group and explore the unique features of the full moon with park rangers and Paul Lewis from the University of Tennessee's Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Bring a blanket or chair for comfortable seating and a flashlight for this nighttime program. In the event of rain, the program will be moved indoors to the Interpretation and Education Building next to the Bandy Creek Visitor Center.
