Driver Indicted for Involuntary Manslaughter

CHICKASAW COUNTY, MS - On July 3, 2015, a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Cedric Coonrod of Huntsville, AL crossed the center line on the Natchez Trace Parkway near mile post 244.5 and struck a Honda CRV head-on, killing the driver and injuring the passenger.

On Aug. 25, 2015, a federal grand jury in Oxford, MS handed-down a one count indictment for Involuntary Manslaughter against Coonrod. A trial date has not been set.
