Dedication Day 2015

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Nov. 17, 2015. It is reproduced in full below.

The Dedication Day Program on Nov. 19, scheduled for the Soldiers' National Cemetery, is relocating to the Gettysburg College Union Ballroom, 242 W. Lincoln Avenue, and will begin at 10:00 a.m. Doors open to the public at 8:30 a.m.

Garrison Keillor, author, storyteller, humorist, and radio personality, will be the featured speaker and the program will also include a naturalization of 16 new citizens by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). USCIS will live stream the ceremony starting at 10 a.m. EST on November 19 on YouTube. The video will also be available, on-demand, later that day.

Local bus service is also available from many of the local hotels. Limited handicapped parking is available on W. Lincoln Avenue.
