Day of Service Events at Montezuma Well and Tuzigoot National Monument

All National Parks are fee free on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr Day.The public are encouraged to treat the holiday as "A Day On, Not A Day Off".The National Park service will host Day of Service activities from 1p.m. to 4p.m. at Montezuma Well and Tuzigoot National Monument.

Volunteers are needed at Montezuma Well in Rimrock, AZ to make seed balls for planting later in the season.We are also looking for people to help clean out the lower ditch in the picnic area.Volunteers are needed at Tuzigoot National Monument in Clarkdale, AZ to pull invasive grasses along the sidewalks and to remove an irrigation line.Participants are encouraged to bring water, a hat, and gloves.
