Visitor Services Closing Due to Winter Storm (Manteo)

In anticipation of a winter storm event, the Outer Banks Group national park sites (Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, and Wright Brothers National), will close all visitor services including visitor centers and off road vehicle permit offices at 2 p.m. today. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the area. The NPS will reassess conditions tomorrow and reopen visitor services as soon as conditions allow.
