Big South Fork Open House on Contaminated Mine Lands Plans on March 10

The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area will holding an open house on Thursday, March 10, at the park's Stearns Ranger Station from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (ET) to update the public on proposed plans to address contaminated mine lands drainage in the park.

The National Park Service Stearns Ranger Station is located at 300 Wilburn K. Ross Highway in Stearns, Kentucky.
