HARKERS ISLAND, NC- A beach is a marvelous place to get away from it all to relax and explore the wonders of the sea. Cape Lookout National Seashore has been nominated as a contender for 'Best National Park Beach' in the 10 Best Readers' Choice travel award contest.
Promoted by USA TODAY, the contest gives voters four weeks to vote for the candidate of their choice at http://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-national-park-beach/. Folks can vote once a day for their favorite selection.
Voting ends on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:59 a.m. EDT and the winners will be announced at the 10 best website on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. EDT, then later in USA TODAY.
