Ranger Program: Coyotes: What You Should Know, March 5

Join a ranger at the Boulder Beach Amphitheater 4 p.m. March 5 to learn more about the wily and opportunistic coyote. Find out why you should observe coyotes from a distance during your visit to the park. For more information call 702-293-8990.

Ranger Chat: Geology 101, March 6

Stop by the Lake Mead Visitor Center at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 6 to learn how the landscape of the recreation area has changed over millions of years, from tropical shallow seas to fiery volcanoes. Call 702-293-8990 for more information.

Volunteer Program: Cottonwood Cove Ecology Walk, March 12

BBSC St. Patrick's Day Half Marathon, March 19

Lake Mead BioBlitz, March 19

Come and help Lake Mead National Recreation area count and identify plants and animals found at the park. Volunteer citizen scientists are needed to assist with this important day.
