On Aug. 25, 1916, the National Park Service was established to protect America's national heritage sites. To celebrate the National Park Service Centennial, Rocky Mountain National Park will be offering a series of truly unique Saturday evening programs held at 7 p.m. at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center.
On Saturday, March 12, the ranger-led program will focus on how science informs park management at Rocky Mountain National Park. A short presentation will be followed by the opportunity for participants to share their own views and take part in a facilitated discussion aimed to explore and share thoughts on the role of science in our national parks. This will be the last program in this series of evening programs.
