TUPELO, MS: Mary Stuart Chapter Regent Ms. Alice Jennings and Ms. Patricia Miller of the Mississippi Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will present a program onSaturday, March 26, 2016, at2:00 p.m.at the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center, near Tupelo, Mississippi. The program will emphasize the critical role that the Mississippi DAR played in the commemoration of the Old Natchez Trace and ultimately the creation of the Natchez Trace Parkway. This year's Women's History Month theme is "Working to Form a More Perfect Union: Honoring Women in Public Service and Government." Remembering the role the DAR played in the establishment of the Natchez Trace Parkway, will shed light on the importance of women using public service to preserve and protect our national treasures.
