On Monday, May 2, 2016 you are invited to join the Natural Resources staff to take a walk on Virginius Island to learn how to identify and record invasive plant species using your smartphone.
This tour will teach you how to use your smartphone with a regional app that includes high resolution maps. Users can take pictures and use the built in GPS to quickly report invasive species from the field. It is recommended to download the program prior to the talk and tour, if you’re unable to that is alright, information will be supplied to all participants on the use of the application.

* Go to the App Store or Google Play
* Search for Mid-Atlantic early detection network App (Free)
* Install the App
* Go into app and click on EDDMapS login
* Enter your email and password
