Women's Rights National Historical Park

Celebrates the 100th Birthday of the National Park Service

Seneca Falls, NY- The National Park Service is turning 100 years old on August 25 and Women's Rights National Historical Park invites everyone to join the party.

Birthday Events

·All day: Junior Ranger programs at the Visitor Center.

·10:00-12:00 PM: Tours of the Elizabeth Cady Stanton house with Dr. Melinda Grube as Mrs. Stanton.

·1:00 PM: Rangers and Elizabeth Cady Stanton will seal a time capsule with various items that signify equality for individuals.

·6:00 PM: Guntzel Theater, Dr. Darla Shaw as Alice Paul discussing Alice's connection to Seneca Falls.

·7:00 PM: Wesleyan Chapel, the Liza Mousious Quintet will perform original music and lyrics in the styles of Jazz, Classical, R&B and Theatre. Liza Regina Mousious is a former National Park employee premiering original compositions to commemorate the National Park Service's 100th birthday.

Women's Rights National Historical Park was established in 1980
