The boat docks at Rainbow Bridge National Monument are closed due to a thunderstorm that severely damaged the docks late afternoon Thursday, Aug. 25.
National Park Service crews assessed the damage last night and are on the way to the monument this morning to make the needed repairs.
The National Park Service will open dock access as soon as the docks are safe. It is possible repairs will last through the weekend.
Trail access from Navajo Mountain is still open.
