WHAT: National Park Service ribbon-cuttings celebrate improvements to two trails on Golden Gate National Recreation Area lands in San Mateo County (Milagra Battery Trail & Old Mori Trail)

DETAILS:

The National Park Service has completed two trail improvement projects in Pacifica, CA, to benefit a wide range of park visitors in San Mateo County.

At Milagra Ridge, the Milagra Battery Trail has been reconstructed to provide an accessible viewing area with stunning views of the coast and an improved trail featuring a stabilized surface and sustainable alignment.

Mori Point now features a new accessible trailhead, comfort station, parking spaces, and an improved accessible trail.

The National Park Service will share the improvements with ribbon-cuttings at each site followed by a public reception at the Old Mori Trailhead at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
