Honolulu - The National Park Service and the United States Navy will host the 75th Anniversary Commemoration, known as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. The commemoration will be held at Kilo Pier on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam from 7:45 AM to 9:15 AM.

Due to limited seats available to the general public at Kilo Pier, approximately 2,300 covered seats will be offered at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center to view the ceremony, which will be broadcast onto large screens on the park’s ceremonial lawn. Free tickets for these seats will be offered on a first come, first served basis starting at 5:30 AM. Visitors without a ticket will be able to stand and watch the ceremony.

Bags that offer concealment are not allowed at the visitor center. More information can be found at www.nps.gov/valr/planyourvisit/safety.

For those unable to attend, a live stream of the ceremony will be available at www.pearlharbor75thanniversary.com.

To allow for various commemorative events, USS Arizona Memorial programs will run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM only. Free program tickets will be available first come, first served and will be handed out starting at 5:30 AM. No reserved tickets will be available.

The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center bookstore, snackshop, museums, and shoreside facilities will be open and available from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
