Denali National Park and Preserve Cancels Workshop for New Trails Strategy

Denali National Park and Preserve Cancels Workshop for New Trails Strategy

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Dec. 9, 2016. It is reproduced in full below.

The National Park Service has canceled a workshop to discuss progress on the Denali Trails Strategy that was scheduled for December 13 at the Tri-Valley Community Library in Healy.

Denali staff will continue to solicit public input through various opportunities with the goal of building a collaborative document that will guide trail management in Denali National Park and Preserve. The Denali Trails Strategy will not be a decision or compliance document, but will help inform trails policies and plans in the future.
