Visitors now have access to Yosemite Valley via Hwy 120
The Big Oak Flat Road in Yosemite National Park (Hwy 120) has reopened to all vehicular traffic following a rockfall that occurred on Sunday morning, February 5, 2017. Visitors are urged to drive with caution along the road, as there is the possibility of more mud and debris entering the roadway.
There is also water and debris on both the El Portal Road (Hwy 140) and Wawona Road (Hwy 41) due to recent storm activity. All visitors coming to Yosemite National Park are encouraged to drive with caution. Several storm systems will be moving through Yosemite National Park over the next several days. Temporary road closures may go into effect at any time for the safety of park visitors.
