UPDATE: Up to $5,000 offered for information leading to arrest and conviction
Special Agents with the NPS Investigative Services Branch and US Park Rangers are investigating the recent theft of ammunition from Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.
Thousands of rounds of rifle and pistol caliber ammunition were taken from a locked building in the headquarters area of the park. The ammunition is part of the park’s law enforcement program; its theft is a felony.
Investigators are looking for any information that could help identify the occupant(s) of a pickup truck that was in the area around the same time the theft occurred.

If you have information that could help investigators, please contact us. Though you may remain anonymous, investigators are offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible.
