Call for Volunteers!
Would you like to learn more about becoming a volunteer here in Guam?
War in the Pacific National Historical Park cordially invites you to our Volunteer Open House at the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center located outside Naval Base Guam’s main gate on Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. You will learn more about the park, volunteer benefits, and currently available volunteer positions.
Volunteers are vital to the success of War in the Pacific National Historical Park through the support in areas such as habitat restoration, educational outreach, museum docents, and coral reef monitoring.
The National Park Service Volunteers-In-Parks program works with individuals to contribute time and service in a way that is mutually beneficial to the National Park Service and the volunteer. Each year, more than 120,000 volunteers donate over 4 million hours of service to help preserve national parks and serve park visitors.
For more information, please contact Education Program Coordinator Tanya Sortor at educationspecialist@pacifichistoricparks.org or (671) 482-1234.
